Ingredients
    For the Eggnog
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1/3 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
  • 2 whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brandy, rum, or bourbon (optional)
  • Freshly grated nutmeg (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Prepare Egg MixtureEggnogIn a large bowl, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Gradually add the 1/3 cup sugar and continue to beat until it is completely dissolved. Set aside.
