Ingredients
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese (at room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
  1. TiramisuIn a large mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks and granulated sugar until thick and pale.
  2. TiramisuAdd mascarpone cheese to the egg mixture and beat until smooth and well combined.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them.
  5. Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  9. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
