Beef and Broccoli is a beloved classic in the world of stir-fry, combining tender beef slices with fresh broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
  • 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 of broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp of water)
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced
  • 2 of garlic, minced
Instructions
  1. Beef and BroccoliIn a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch mixture. Set aside.
  2. Beef and BroccoliHeat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 4 minutes, or until they are bright green and tender.
  4. Add ginger and garlic to the skillet and stir-fry for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
